KeymasterWhat version of Jump Start are you using?

Participant1.1.2 – I started using swagger, and then though I would upload jumpstart, and maybe update and use it, but when the options would not save. I thought I would check in here first before doing anything else.

KeymasterFirst get yourself onto the latest version of Jump Start, which 1.2.
Now, you’ve been using Jump Start awhile. Is this is a new site you’re setting up? Or is this all of a sudden happening on an existing site? When did this problem start? What’s going on here?

ParticipantThis is a brand new installation with no content. This started when I first went in to save the setting for the logo, and select use site title and tagline. Nothing really going on, I just installed jumpstart, and the recommended plugins as usual and went to adjust some basic settings.
The website is here (with swagger active): http://trevathanmarketing.com/
Should I re upload the jumpstart files?

Participanthuh 1.1.3 seemed to fix things. sorry for the bother. What’s the latest version? I am sure I need to update my license…JumpStart Auto Updates now right? Or just use the same old ftp method, which is fine by me.

KeymasterI see your site with Jump Start 1.1.3 activated, and I see your site name and tagline in the header. Did you resolve the issue? I have tried on my end and can’t reproduce any instance where the options don’t save. I’m able to save custom logo text and tagline.
Also, if you’re starting a new site, make sure you’re up-to-date on the actual Jump Start theme.

KeymasterIf you go to Appearance > Theme Options, and look in the footer, there is always a live link to our changelog. This is a good way to stay on top of things (if you don’t have the auto update system setup).
http://themeblvd.com/changelog/?theme=jumpstart
Whether you want to do the in-dashboard updates, or manually download from here and upload through FTP, is up to you. It really doesn’t matter.
Here are instructions for the in-dashboard updates (see “Automatic Updates”):
http://support.themeblvd.com/docs/theme-updates/#jumpstart
This is something that’s been available since Jump Start was originally released, and hasn’t changed.

Participantwow I need to really get caught up on this! : )
I have a set of files in my google drive, and then a newer set on my work computer.
I do need to renew my license and sounds like the auto update is the way to go, vs. using these older files which has now officially caused a problem.
On a side note would you happen to have a link to a post on how to properly integrate ubermenu?

For auto updates to work, you’ll need a valid license. Go to My Account > Licenses to see if your license is expired or not. There will be a link there to renew if it is.

If you look on the plugin’s author’s online documentation, there is some basic information there, but honestly I have tried to create a plugin to integrate ubermenu more smoothly into our themes, and it’s just too huge of a mess.
