theme options changes take a long time to update

    hi,
    the theme is barely corporate.
    installed it today – every change i make in the the theme options panel takes over 5 minutes to update.
    I have checked server side and all is ok.
    replaced the theme back to twenty-eleven – no problems updating there.
    please advise what to do.

    Hello,

    I’m really not sure what to tell you on that one unfortunately. The options are simply saved to standard registered WordPress option in your database by WordPress. In theory, if you’re saving the options, and they’re not showing up on the frontend of your instantly, there would have to be some kind of caching or something on your server/WordPress setup that is allowing for this to happen. The theme has no unique way of saving options that would then take 5 minutes to appear on your site.

    the problem was with the hosting company and not the theme.
    switched to a different hosting providor and all ok 🙂
