Theme Blvd News Scroller

Seems like the Theme Blvd News Scroller widget is displaying the wrong date when it displays a news item. For example, on my site, http://www.balestrierefariello.com/, the News Scroller displays the stories in the correct order as they were published, but it posts a different date (usually one week behind) from when the story was actually posted. For one of the stories, it doesn’t post the date at all. Tested and got the same result on IE, Chrome, and Firefox. Any thoughts on what I could do to resolve this? Thanks.

    Hello,

I can see the issue you’re describing on your site, but I can’t reproduce the issue on my end. I’ve got Akita v1.1.5 and Theme Blvd News Scroller v1.0.8 and everything is working as it should: http://www.themeblvd.com/demo/akita/

I’m trying to figure out what’s different between our two sites. You’ve got Akita v1.1.5, as well. Do you have v1.0.8 of News Scroller plugin?

I think I have an idea of what it is. What happens if you change the scroll direction to vertical? Does the problem go away?

Yes, using Akita v1.1.5 and Theme Blvd News Scroller v1.0.8. Switching to vertical solved the date issue. Is the issue with the fade effect only? Thanks.

Yeah, it’s only with the fade. The issue doesn’t happen with vertical scroll or horizontal scroll, but I see why it happens. I’ll post an update to the plugin (which will be v1.0.9) by tomorrow.

I posted the update yesterday. So, you should be able to update to v1.0.9 through the plugins page of your WordPress admin. Let me know if you still have the same problem.

Updated to 1.0.9 and fade now works. Thanks again, Jason.
