Strange Bullet Point Formatting in Chrome

I noticed tonight that there is something strange with the bullet point (html formatted icons – plus, check mark, etc…). The font changed to TNR and there is a weird gray check mark showing up above the bullet list.

It is doing this only in chrome and I checked it on 2 different computers.

Do you have some sort of bootstrap/fontawesome plugin installed by chance?

Ah! you rang a bell for me. It was not a WordPress plugin but a chrome extension. I disabled all of my chrome extensions and re enabled them one by one. It was because of an extension called “show title tag”. I was wondering why it happened all of the sudden?” He must have updated the plugin yesterday and something interfered with the CSS.
