    Hey Jason,

Bought Alyeska quite a while ago and went to redownload it from TF and realized the last update was mid last year. Are you still developing it?

Oh yea, you know it. Alyeska 3.0 is looking awesome. I’m hoping to push it out just after WordPress releases 3.6. It’s part of a big push to merge with Jump Start’s version of the framework and all of our plugins.

WOOOOT! 🙂 Sadly, who knows when in hell WP will push out 3.6… they’re already working on being two months late. So, if I go ahead with development on this theme, I’m concerned that the new JumpStart framework will make my current design/dev with it irrelevant. Is that a valid concern or just pure silliness on my part? 🙂

The framework in Jump Start is just the next version of Theme Blvd framework that’s already in your Alyeska theme. Alyeska has framework v2.1, and the most current is v2.2 (soon to be 2.3). So, it’s not as if you’ll be looking at a brand new theme or anything.

So, I guess it depends on how much customization you’re doing. If you’re doing a lot of heavy coding customizations, you may have back pedal a little when the new one comes out, and just make sure everything jives right. But if you’re just using the theme with just its admin features and what, updating later shouldn’t really screw anything up.
