Soundcloud social icon feature request

Hi,

Just wanted to suggest in a future update if it’s possible to add a “soundcloud” social icon for music oriented websites. I see there’s a MySpace social icon, which I don’t think too many music people are using anymore these days. Thank you!

I’m not really all that familiar with the service. So, what would someone using this theme be linking to on soundcloud? Do you have have some sort of public portfolio there that has music you’ve posted? Or some sort of public profile you like to advertise?

Hi Jason,

You’re correct. They even have a fantastic set of widgets that allow you to post and/or share you music across the web. So in my case, I have my entire catalog of music uploaded to soundcloud, which I can share with anybody, publicly or via private links.

There’s no doubt that every major or indi label artist, producers and music companies alike are using soundcloud to share/post their music.

Another useful social icon that’s very important to music oriented sites would be a “Spotify” icon, which is a music streaming service that many artists are using to get their music heard.
