    Hi Jason,

Can you please help me set the social media buttons in color. I noticed on the Theme Forest Live Preview of this theme that I was able to adjust them in the Demo Options tab, but when I downloaded the theme I have been able to figure out how to display them in color.

    The website is ithhostels.com.

    Thanks!
    Bobby

    Hello Bobby,

You’re using Swagger v1.1.5, and at the start of August we posted a huge update, which was Swagger v2.0.0. So the color social icons are only available if you update to v2+, which is totally free, of course.

Here’s your changelog for the theme:

Here are the important things you’ll need to know about specifically updating from v1 to v2:

Here’s some general info on updating:

And moving forward with v2+, we’ve built-in updates through the WordPress dashboard:

    Hi Jason,

    Thanks!

I tried to go ahead and just upload that theme and it says that the folder already exists. Check out these two photos. The first one shows the version that I have and the second one shows the error message. Any thoughts of why this is happening?

    Thanks!

This is the expected result from what you’re trying to do. WordPress will not let you install a theme with the same directory of another theme that already exists. So, with the way you’re doing it through your WP admin, you’d have to first delete the previous version.

Please watch this video from above: https://vimeo.com/41533135

This video will guide you through what you’re trying to do here.

    Hi Jason,

Thanks for the help. I updated my theme but now all of my custom options aren’t working.. My sliders, footer, custom builder setup….

Can you help me restoring all these options?

    Thanks!

Great! Just for future reference. — The theme options are saved based on the name of the current theme. So, if you make changes to the name of the theme in style.css or you switch to a child theme, the name of the current theme changes, and thus you’re not longer pulling in the options from the same ID.
