I have the Alyeska WordPress theme and I’m having issues with the short codes. When I use the short codes in the layout builder for a page, they work fine, but when I use them in a standard wordpress page, the short codes don’t seem to work. I’m have tried the tabs and toggle shorts codes.

    Hello,

All tabs and toggle shortcodes are working over here with WordPress 3.5. — http://www.themeblvd.com/demo/alyeska/features/shortcodes/shortcodes-tabs-and-toggles/

Can you be more specific about how they do not work? Is this some kind of javascript issue? The shortcodes do not animate properly on your website? Is it possible you have another 3rd-party plugin installed that is breaking javascript for your whole site with WP 3.5? Maybe you could provide a link to your site?

Thanks for the replay Jason. Here is a link to the page with the tabs shortcode on it.

I’ve added the short code into a custom layout using the layout builder on a different page and it works ok.

Not sure if I’m doing something wrong?

Do you have a Google Analytics plugin installed by chance? I think that’s your culprit. For whatever reason, it filters the content on pages and posts and screws with anchor tags. This is something that’s been happening long before WP 3.5, but you probably never would have thought your recently installed analytics plugin would be messing with the content of your pages… because it makes no sense, right? I agree. 😉

    You are spot on!

    Thanks Jason.

Should I just use the analytics setting in the theme options?

Yeah, just throw the code snippet Google gives you into that box on the theme options, and it will get put in your website.
