How do you reorder the posts in the portfolios?

How have you setup your portfolio specifically? Can you provide some more information about what you’ve setup?

Yes the way you described in the video, by creating post and adding a custom field to identify which post appeared on a page. Currently the most recent post shows up first, and I would like to order them in a custom way.

Ok, so you’ve chosen to use the “Post Grid” page template in setting up your portfolio, and so as you’ve already been introduced to, there are certain custom fields you can use there. You can find a list of those in your documentation and here: http://dev.themeblvd.com/tutorial/page-templates-reference/

One option would be to use the “query” custom field where you can put in any query string you want. So, just checkout the WordPress Codex on how to order a query with WordPress: http://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Query#Order_.26_Orderby_Parameters

So, for example your “query” custom field’s value could be something like this:

order=ASC&orderby=title

[Author]
