Removing blog data from search results

We are not using any blog functionality in the website. But when a search is done, the page that returns results lists the results like a blog listing with a line such as this “Posted on July 10, 2013 by admin in ” under the title. How can we remove this line entirely?

Each individual post here is controlled with the content-archive.php template part file of the theme. You’d just copy this to your Child theme’s directory and then make any customizations you want to it.

In this case, you could just remove where you the themeblvd_blog_meta() being called.

Note: There is a setting in the theme for this at Appearance > Theme Options > Content > Archives, which doesn’t appear to be setup right. I’ll make sure this is fixed in the next update.
