    Hello,

    I am not able to remove the sidebar on the BBPress pages, using the Alyeska theme
    I want to have the full width on the forum pages.
    Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks, Eric.

    Hello,

    This won’t be possible through any feature of the theme. This is definitely possible, but will be a customization you’d need to make from the functions.php file of your Child theme.

    It’s kind of funny you asked this because I’ve had this example sitting here for months that I’ve never gotten to link anyone to.

    Checkout Example #3 in this tutorial under the section “Manually adjusting which sidebar layout is used” —

    Thanks for your quick response, Jason.

    And… it´s fixed!

    Is there a way to hide the breadcrumbs from these BBpress pages as well?

    Grz Eric.

    Hmm, I guess something like this in theory would be one way you could do it:

    function my_remove_breadcrumbs(){
    	if( is_bbpress() )
    		remove_action( 'themeblvd_breadcrumbs', 'themeblvd_breadcrumbs_default' );
    }
    add_action( 'wp', 'my_remove_breadcrumbs' );

    You´re the man.
    I had to add some ´d´ in ´themeblvd_breacrumbs´. But then it all worked!

    Thanks, Eric.

    Ok Jason, then correct ‘themeblvd_breacrumbs_default’ too 😉
