remove page and post teasers

Out of what seems like nowhere there are now “post teasers” displaying at the bottom of the posts on this site:

(page) http://www.watertownhumanesociety.org/donations-fundraisers/dog-wash/

(post) http://www.watertownhumanesociety.org/events/animal-aid-music-festival/

They never used to be there before and I haven’t been able to find where to disable them. Why they didn’t display before and do now I have no idea. Commenting out the code below in the child theme page.php and single.php didn’t make it go away:

// Featured area (below)
//	if( themeblvd_config( 'featured_below' ) ) {
//		themeblvd_featured_below_start();
//		themeblvd_featured_below( 'page' );
//		themeblvd_featured_below_end();
//	}

I did just upgrade their WP to 3.5.2 but I don’t find any files in their FTP with today’s date on them.

Hey Deb,

When you say “post teasers” are you referring to where it says “You may also like:” ? — This would be from a plugin you’re using, and nothing to do with the theme’s single.php or page.php. Go to your Plugins page in your WP admin and look there; I’m sure you’ll remember what you installed after skimming your plugins.
