Recommendation requested for Stats Plugin

I have Google Analytics installed already. However, on my previous site I installed a plugin from WordPress.org that displayed the stats in the dashboard – which was quite handy for a quick view of site activity.

Alas, I can’t remember what plugin I used. I’m always nervous about installing plugins, as I’m never sure how to select a secure one, so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

if it can helps, i’m using SlimStat and it seems there are no problem with this theme.
