Problems with sliders

    Hello!

I am having a very frustrating experience lately with the sliders in my theme. I upload full size images in the correct dimensions and they display beautifully. But lately they have been disappearing and I have to continually upload them again. This seems to happen when I work with widgets. This bothers me because I am worried about visitors to my site who won’t be able to see the sliders that list my services. The sliders are an important part of my homepage and I need for them to work properly. Do you know what the problem could be and how I can prevent this from happening?

    Hello,

I honestly don’t think I’m following the issue. When you edit widgets, images of your sliders go away? I don’t quite see the correlation. It doesn’t really make sense that images of your sliders would just disappear. You have to be doing something with those images you’ve uploaded to WordPress? Is it possible you could experiment a little more and try to narrow what it is you’re doing for me so maybe I can help? I’m just not quite sure what to do with the information you’re giving me, unfortunately.

Well, I believe it may have something to do with the homepage being refreshed so many times. When I add or edit a widget I always refresh the screen. I’ve been working with widgets a lot in the last few days more than anything else and the problem with slider images disappearing has happened several times.

I wonder about one thing. My images are always sized 920 x 346.  Should this be a different number?

    Hi Jason,

I think I solved the problem. I changed the slider size from 920 x 346 to 920 x 344 and uploaded it to the slider. Then I went into the Builder and clicked on the update button. After that the other slides appeared without me having to upload them again. In other words, just reuploading the first slider caused the other sliders to reappear. I know it sounds weird but this is exactly what happened. Thanks for your help and thanks for creating Alyeska. I really do love working with this theme.
