i’m having trouble with the shortcode not taking my “post_content” into account. The syntax im using is the following.

    [post_grid columns="2" rows="2" categories="nyheter" orderby="post_date" order="DESC" post_content="excerpt" offset="0" link="true" link_text="Se mer nyheter" link_url="http://bootcampen.se/blogg/nyheter" link_target="_self"]

I’ve tried changing post_content=”excerpt” to “content” and “default” but nothing changes.
Any thoughts ? tips or hints would be greatfulle considered and implemented 😉

    Hello,

So, I think the confusion here is you’re trying to use a parameter that doesn’t exist for the [post_grid] shortcode. Here are all of the parameters you can use with the shortcode:

    http://www.themeblvd.com/demo/swagger/features/shortcodes/shortcodes-display-posts/

I do not put any kind of option like this in the framework because every theme can potentially have an different post grid design, whereas every theme’s post list design is always going to have an excerpt/content area for each post; then you can use “post_content” parameter to determine if that post list shows full content or just the excerpt.

However, if you go to Appearance > Theme Options > Content > Post Grids, the Swagger theme does have an option to turn on excerpts for post grids across your entire site.
