Permalinks – Can I change them?

    Hi Jason,

    I have the number 2 in a lot of my permalinks (e.g. http://www.ataitec.net/about-us-2/about-us/). I’m assuming the 2 is in reference to it being a sub menu?

    My client does not like the 2s. Can these 2s be removed manually? Any problem with doing that?

    Hi Liz,

    This happens when you have duplicate posts with the same slug. And yes, you can change them when editing a given post or page, by simply clicking the permalink below the post title, and changing it.

    I respectfully ask that you please search Google for further help on this topic and other general WordPress topics that do not relate to the WordPress theme you’re using.
