Pages missing after updating WPML

    After updating my WPML plugins to the latest version, pages on my blog are just blank.
    Setting the theme back to the Twenty Twelve standard theme solves the issue, so I guess there might be a problem with the WPML-BC integration.

    I already created an error log on request of the WPML support: http://mela.piratenpad.de/12

    Greetings,

    Mela

    Hello,

    I apologize, but from what you’re telling me, I’m not able to reproduce the issue you’re describing. I just setup a new WordPress install with:

    • WordPress v3.5.1
    • Barely Corporate v3.1.5
    • WPML Multilingual CMS v2.8
    • Theme Blvd WPML Bridge v1.1.2

    The site has permalinks enabled and some pages created in different languages. Everything is coming up. I can’t think of what else the issue you’re describing would correspond to.

    What else have you done to troubleshoot the issue other than switching themes? Have you tried to target it to a specific plugin? What happens if you disable Theme Blvd WPML Bridge? What happens if you disable different addons of WPML?

    Now I’ve disabled Theme Blvd WPML Bridge v1.1.2 and the page shows up fine.

    Can you please give me anything else I can go on? What other plugins are you using? What WPML addons? Any clue on how to reproduce the specific issue you’re having?

    I honestly don’t know how do reproduce this issue.
    All I did was to update to the latest WPML version about two days ago and the pages didn’t show up anymore.
    I was in touch with the WPML support, till we figured out that WPML didn’t cause the symptoms itself, but switching to the standard theme helped.

    I’m using the following WPML plugins:
    * WPML CMS Nav
    * WPML Multilingual CMS
    * WPML Sticky Links
    * WPML String Translation
    * WPML Translation Management
    * Installer

    and the following ThemeBlvd Plugins:

    * Theme Blvd WPML Bridge (deactivated)
    * Theme Blvd Simple Permalink
    * Theme Blvd Featured Image Link Override

    Oder plugins acrive at the momend:
    * Advanced YouTube Embed With Google Analytics -like Stats, by Embed Plus
    * Akismet
    * Broken Link Checker
    * BWP Google XML Sitemaps
    * Custom Field Template
    * D64 LSR-Stopper
    * Dashboard Notepad
    * Dupe Off
    * Facebook Comments for WordPress
    * Flattr
    * Google Author Link
    * Google Calendar Events
    * Google Site Verification plugin using Meta Tag
    * Jetpack von WordPress.com

    Perfect, thank you for the information. Phew, WPML likes to throw curve balls with these updates. The conflict is actually with the updated v1.3 of the WPML CMS Nav plugin, and not WPML 2.8, itself.

    I’ve figured out the issue and will post an updated version to the Theme Blvd WPML Bridge plugin later today.

    All right, the TB WPML Bridge plugin has been updated in the WordPress plugin repo. Update to v1.1.3 through your WordPress plugins admin page and let me know if this does not fix your original issue.
