Page featured image thumbs in grid?

Is it possible to use Magazine 2 layout, but show page images (featured image) in the post grid area instead of posts? We need static grid items to represent associated pages. Thank you.

Hello,

You do sort of have some options here. You’ll want to mess with the “Custom Query” option in the post grid element.

This would just pull from all pages, for example.

post_type=page

However, with what WP gives you, within just a text string, you can’t specific multiple specific posts. You’d have to get creative. Possibly you could put all of your pages as child pages to a certain page, and then reference that page as a parent like:

post_parent=123

So, in this example, you’d pull all the pages that are a child of page with ID 123.
