"no-click" breadcrumbs?

  • Creator

Navigation items that are set to “no-click” are still clickable in the breadcrumbs, which takes users to blank pages I don’t want users to see.

    Any way to fix?

A custom menu you’ve built under Appearance > Menus for your main navigation doesn’t have anything to do with the display of your breadcrumbs. By definition, your breadcrumbs represent the hierarchy of pages leading to the current one. So, it wouldn’t quite make sense if there was an empty item within the breadcrumbs trail that wasn’t a link.

So, you won’t be able to do this. However, if you’d like to eliminate the link from the breadcrumbs trail, you need to adjust the hierarchy of your pages. In other words, when you’re editing a page, you need to have a look at what you’ve selected for that page’s parent.

This will not effect your main navigation, as it’s unrelated (assuming you’ve built out a custom menu, which is sounds like you have).

    Okay, thanks.
