Hi Jason,
When I create a new Nivo Slider, and add an Image Slide, the only option in the 1st drop down under Media Display is Full Size.
Is there any way to create a slider with thumbnail sized images that will open in lightbox in full size? I’d like to make some “filmstrip” style sliders.
I did try Carousel, and the only option is 320×200 hard crop.
Thanks,
Jeff
Never mind about the “filmstrip” comment. I was thinking of a very different type of slider.
Are the media display choices correct? I thought there might be more options for the slider container size itself.
Hello,
You will find that the standard slider type is the most versatile. You can display video or images, and these images can be aligned left or right, or displayed full size, in any size you want.

Yes, this is correct. With the Nivo slider, it takes the image and applies that many different background images over top the slide for the effect to be possible. This requires that the image take up the entire slide.

Yes, the carousel slider is just a carsouel of these smaller images. This is the most limiting slider type of all because its output is so specific.
