Mobile Stylesheet

    Hi Jason,

    In Appearance->Theme Options->Configuration->Responsiveness, it says:

    “This theme comes with a special stylesheet that will target the screen resolution of your website vistors and show them a slightly modified design if their screen resolution matches common sizes for a tablet or a mobile device.”

    I’ve been putting my mobile styles into custom.css. Is this the wrong place?

    Thanks!
    Dave

    Hi Dave,

    I assume you’ve got one of the old child theme starters we used to include with a custom.css file? If so, yes, these were setup to include that CSS file after all the theme stylesheets. Thus, your edits there will override anything in the theme’s responsive stylesheet.

    Hi Jason,

    Yes I believe that is what I have.

    So, should I keep it this way, and continue to edit only the custom.css in the child theme? Or should I be directly editing the child theme’s stylesheets?

    Thanks
    D

    I’m not quite sure what you’re asking? Are you saying you have multiple stylesheets in your child theme? It might be helpful also if you posted a link to your site. I’m kind of just taking shots in the dark here at what you might have included in your site.
