Mobile Site Crashing After Update

    I recently updated to the newest version of the Alyeska theme. When viewing pages or posts on mobile, it will partially load, then crash the browser. Is it possible something wasn’t installed correctly? If so, how would I fix this?

    Specifically where are you seeing this issue? I brought your site up on my iPhone 5 and everything seemed to work as it should?

    Thanks for getting back.

    I notice it when I leave on of my menu pages and go into an individual post or page.
    This link will crash on my iPhone 5 http://theintrepidangler.com/gear-review-s1-nano-sewell-custom-inshore-spinning-rod/

    I’ve cleared history and cache on the iPhone and still have issues. The page will partially load, then close the mobile application viewing the page.

    Ok, so let’s troubleshoot a little here. The issue doesn’t exist on your homepage, but when we click to this page, it crashes. So, the next logical would be to ask what other pages crash when you view them? Then, what is the pattern in these pages? What do they all share in common that could be causing them to crash specifically?

    It doesn’t appear to crash on WordPress archive pages or standard pages. But it seems to crash whenever we click to a standard post. What do all of the single, standard post pages share in common? One thing that sticks out to me is that you seem to be using a third-party plugin for leaving comments. Could this be the cause of the issue? What happens when you disable it?

    Wow. Good call. I didn’t know that JetPack comments were even enabled. I disabled them, cleared cache and sites seem to be loading properly. It looks like the issue is resolved. Thanks for such prompt customer and product support.
