    AS a good UI designer, the hover efect on the menu when highlight on hover are fine… but there is NO visual cue to where we are. the top menu select should be highlight (white?!)… as an example… on the demo, when you go on post grid:2 column, the post grid menu itm whould “tell” by being white… you are there ! is it possible to do that ?

    That’s totally doable, but this would be a CSS customization you’d need to make to the theme. If you use your browser’s inspector and look at the markup for your main menu, you can see that WordPress’s output of wp_nav_menu() gives you many CSS classes you can use for potential styling like “current-menu-item”, for example.

    For CSS changes, it’s a good idea to use a tool like firebug or Google Chrome’s built-in developer tools to locate them and then put the edits either in your child theme or in the “Custom CSS” option on your theme options page.

    Also, here’s a helpful tutorial on how to use Firebug – http://vimeo.com/20917974. The only thing I’d suggest not doing is actually making edits to the theme’s CSS files, as it shows at the end of that video. However, the video serves as a good introduction to Firebug and how it can be used to find what CSS is effecting certain areas of your site without ever digging around in any files.

    I know firebug, but even after 5 hours trying to figure out a way to do that it’s not completely ok. Always buggy and ugly. Do i have undo it, and ask for a professional to do it (you) it would be a great addition to an already good and beautiful theme thanks in advance !

    For example, here’s one way you could do the top level items. —

    #primary-menu > li.current-menu-item > a {
    	background: #ffffff;
    	color: #858585;
    }
