    Hi Jason,

    I have this article as a good reference for SEO – http://www.pitstopmedia.com/sem/h1-heading-seo.
    There’s a sub heading of the article “What should programmers know about H1-H6 tags” with this line:
    – don’t hyper link your headings (especially for Google News) to point back to the same page

    It’s very detailed article, logical explanations with proven advises, so I wonder would you consider making the Post titles not hyper-linked to itself. Titles on Pages in JumpStart are already fine, just posts are that concern me.

    I can be patient to see this with the next framework update or maybe you can instruct how to do this.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    Good news this has actually already been changed for Jump Start 1.1. However, it’s also something you can very easily customize from your Child theme, as well. —

    Just copy content.php to your Child theme and remove the hyperlink around the_title().

    So this:

    <h1 class="entry-title<?php if( themeblvd_get_att( 'show_meta' ) ) echo ' entry-title-with-meta'; ?>"><a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" title="<?php the_title(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h1>

    Would become this:

    <h1 class="entry-title<?php if( themeblvd_get_att( 'show_meta' ) ) echo ' entry-title-with-meta'; ?>">
    	<?php the_title(); ?>
    </h1>

    This file is what controls the content of single posts. Here’s a an article that outlines this in more details along with a table of all default template parts used:
