    Hello Peter,

When you have the “Auto Lightbox” feature enabled, it converts inserted images that you’ve chosen to link to a media, accepted by our lightbox, into an instance of the [lightbox] shortcode. So, when this feature is enabled, this is exactly what you should be seeing in your page/post editor.

If you’d like to disable the “Auto Lightbox” feature, you can do so by going to WP Admin > Settings > Writing > Theme Blvd Shortcodes > Auto Lightbox.

Here’s the video from your documentation that describes all of this in more detail:

    thanks

Instead of seeing the image in the visual editor, I am seeing the following code

    [lightbox link=”http://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/westcoast.jpg” thumb=”http://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/westcoast-300×199.jpg” width=”300″ align=”right” title=”westcoast” frame=”true” icon=”image” caption=””]

Then if the page is saved, and go to the actual page, I see the code above instead of the pic

I have checked and rechecked settings as per your great documentation page which comes with the template, watched the video and checked for posible conflicts with other plugins (by deactivating them all except those which came with Akita

    very odd

    Peter

Yes, with Auto Lightbox feature enabled, this is exactly what you should be seeing.

However, this should not be the case. Can I see a live link to the page on the frontend of the site where this occurs?
