The theme adds the code to trigger the lightbox based on the type of media being linked to. It has to be linking to image files. The way this is determined is if the URL being linked to ends in an image file extension (i.e. png, jpg, etc). It looks like however your caching or CDN works with these images, it’s changing the URL’s of the images being linked to so the theme doesn’t recognize them as ending with these image file extensions.

Thank you. I was able to fix that. It had to do with a setting in W3 Total Cache.
