    Hi,
I have recently moved wrodpress blog to another server. Instalation of theme (same alyeska with same settings) with all the widgets was successful. Exported pages working same way. Settings form layout builder are saved on these pages. However I cant edit builder anymore. It just show white screen in browser when I “edit” some layout. List of layouts is still there. I tried to delete them all and create new ones but when I add new one I have white screen again (cant edit new ones too).
Additional I cant change custom layout on pages. I can chose “custom layout” but list of custom layouts don’t show up.
    Please help

    Hello,

You most likely either have some sort error from the configuration of your particular server or a javascript conflict with another plugin you’re using. Have you tried going through and disabling any plugins you’ve installed since the issue started happenning?

Or have you tried using a web inspector to see what error you’re getting? — One way to do this is use Google Chrome web browser and have the browsers web developer tools open to the “Console” tab. Then, when you click to edit a layout, you’re get some kind of red error there.

    Hey,

I found that “Theme Blvd Admin Presence” plugin made some problems, i disabled it and some fuctions came back (other plugins werent working with it on. I dont have plugins other than sugested by theme Alyeska (Layout Builder, Shortcodes, Sliders, Widget Areas, Widget Pack, Tweeple) plus : Websimon Tables, UberMenu 2 – WordPress Mega Menu Plugin, Simple Analytics. I used all of them on testing server and everything i stil working.

I noticed that problem when i tried to edit layout. Now i see that it is alsohappening when i add new media. After doing drag n drop, file (or files) are beeing upload, if 1 file get to 100% upload page become white same as like editing layout. After reresh files are sent to server and i can use them like always (add to content, edit etc). White screen occurs only after upload.

I think it happened after using WordPress Importer and import blog content from test server but dont know for sure.
Got that Chrome tools, just please say what to check. This has many fuctions. I dont know witch one You need.

    Thanks, Gregory.

This all suggests that the issue is something on your server, outside of your direct control. It’s most likely not the theme or any plugins, especially if you have the same setup working locally. Who is in charge of your server and who set up WordPress for you? (i.e. hosting company maybe?) — That might be the next logical place to ask.

Both of the issues you’re describing both with the Layout Builder and the media uploader are AJAX-related functionality. It sounds like your server is for some reason blocking this. This might be a good place to start with your host. They will probably try to have you isolate the issue by activating a default WordPress theme and then re-producing the media upload issue.

Thank You Jason, You helped me a lot 🙂

Host where blog was moved had some sort of statistics and automaticly added them to any website. After turning this off – problem solved.

    Thank You again 🙂

    Gregory.
