I've set up a Template – How do I use it?

I’ve set up most of the elements of a Template (I think).

Now, when I go to Customize, It’s my thinking the Template I set up should be the main page of my site. However, I cannot figure out how to make it be that.

Right now, I’m just getting started getting everything put together and I cannot figure out how to even move or replace or get rid of the piece that says “Hello world!”.

My site, as it is right now, is http://www.glenspcservice.com.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Have you checked out the documentation that comes with the theme? The “getting started” section will be helpful.

First off, you can configure all the options of the theme’s primary design by going to Appearance > Theme Options. Make sure to check that out. For example, that’s where you’ll put in a custom logo.

Next you’ll want to create a static page that’ll later serve as your homepage. Please see the layout builder section of your documentation and watch the four videos. You can apply your “template” you created to the page or build the layout directly into the page itself. This is all covered in the four videos.

Then, finally you’ll set that page as your frontpage (this would be the same no matter what theme you’re using and is also covered in one of the layout builder videos). Go to Settings > Reading > Frontpage displays in your WP admin, and set the page you created for the homepage as your static frontpage (this will replace the “hello world” text as you asked originally).
