Image gallery spacing and styling question

    Hi Jason,

    I’ve inserted an image gallery between paragraphs of text. The top spacing between the paragraph above and the start of the 3-column gallery is perfect. However the spacing between the bottom of the last row of gallery images and the next paragraph is way too large.

    I’ve used FireBug to isolate this CSS:

    #wrapper .gallery {
        margin: 0 auto 1,625em;
    }

    I’ve messed with all the included margin elements, but nothing seems to reduce the actual space immediately below the last three images.

    Please see the screen capture:

    Is there anything I can do to reduce this space?

    Hello,

    Within the gallery shortcode there are random <p></p> tags being inserted. I think WordPress does this for some reason, I’m not sure.

    Anyway, you could just try hiding them:

    #wrapper .gallery p {
    	display: none;
    }

    And then the rest of the margin will be from what you already found.

    #wrapper .gallery {
        margin-bottom: 0;
    }
