Hello,

On your page where you’ve applied the Post Grid page template, you want to add a custom field named “category_name” and then for the value put the slug of the category. Checkout the Page Templates section of your documentation.

Also, this is a useful plugin that adds a meta box when you’re editing pages to allow you to see all of the available custom fields for Post Grid/List page templates.
