    How do I get rid of the extension of the blog-title?

    Like now it is

    PAGE-HEADLINE + NAME OF THE BLOG + SUBTITLE

    Like:
    get anything you want from us right now like tickets and so oncompany | Your Great Company

    I want the title to be:
    get anything you want from us right now like tickets and so on

    which is defined at the page

    and I want to get rid of

    company | Your Great Company

    How can I do this?

    Thx
    Ralf

    Found out how – I just overruled them with WordPress SEO by Yoast.

    Hello Ralf,

    This will be a customization you’ll need to make to the theme from your child theme. If you wanted, you could just filter onto wp_title form your Child theme’s functions.php after the framework loads.

    For example —

    function my_wp_title( $title ) {

    	// If this is a page, change the <title> to
    	// just the page's title.
    	if( is_page() )
    		$title = get_the_title();

    	return $title;
    }
    add_filter( 'wp_title', 'my_wp_title' );
