    Hi Jason B.,

After configuring the “home” page according to your guide, I noticed that the “home” icon on the menu is replaced by a “home” text instead. Please advise on how I can get the icon back on the menu.

    Thank you in advance.

    Cheers,
    Jason W.

    Hello,

Under Appearance > Menus, when you’re creating your menu, on your home menu item, add the class “home” to its “CSS-class” field.

Note: If you don’t see CSS -class as an option when editing a menu item, it means you have it hidden. Just go up to the “Screen Options” tab at the top right corner of the screen, and turn this option on.

    Perfect. Many thanks.

By the way, can title attribute or description be added to the menu tabs, say under “Contact” with “Get in Touch” in italics?

Nope, sorry the theme has no feature for this.

For this, you’d need to setup some sort of custom walker for the call to wp_nav_menu. http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_nav_menu

    Here’s a good tutorial: http://www.kriesi.at/archives/improve-your-wordpress-navigation-menu-output
