Hiding email address in Simple Contact Widget

I want to disguise the email address within the Simple Contact widget in order to avoid robot searching, ie instead of displaying:

    info@domain.com

it would be better to display for example:

    Email us here

Where the email address will be hidden and simply link through.
Or doesn’t this matter and robot searches will pick it up anyway?

    Any thoughts?

    Hello,

I apologize, but there is no feature for this.

Although with having a clickable link for people, I don’t think it would really make much difference if the text did display like this, because your email address is in the link anyway. So, whether or not your text says “Email us here” or the email address, it’s stil going to be picked up by any robots coming through, because it’s still in the link’s href.

If this is a concern, I would suggest not putting your email address, and instead, linking to a contact form page.

Hey no need to apologise – the theme is great!

It was just a thought. Before I started using themes I simply used an image file.

Thanks for the prompt response though Jason and as I say great work!

    Cheers, Nick
