    I’m not sure why but I cannot seem to get the boxed header effect without my entire site being boxed.

    I’m wanting the header transparent/boxed (not fill width) as presented in the demo

    Any tips?

    Hi,

    What you’re describing is the default look of the transparent header.

    First off, you want to have the first couple of options set how they were when you installed the theme. Here’s a screenshot of how it should look and be set at Appearance > Theme Options:

    And then, on a given page simply set the transparent header under the Theme Layout meta box.
