    – How can I make the sub-text for the images in a gallery show when they’re opened in a lightbox (or eventually in a pretty-box)? Like the text beneath the thumbs here:

    Check out this:

Is it somehow possible to make galleries show with the first image open – and without thumbs underneath – like here?

Apologies, but there is no feature for this that I’m aware of.

I guess I need a plugin like Nextgen Gallery to achieve that? If so, do you know the best alternative. We’ve had problems with Nextgen and try to avoid it.

I’ve never really explored gallery plugins; so I’m not sure.

    Thanks, Jason
That works just as I hoped.
…and I’ll just look a bit around for alternative ways to display images – but on the other hand I really like the simple and nice-looking “standard” way of yours. We’ll see :o)
