1.Featured images in my portfolio have different sizes.
Can you tell me how it crops the images to make thumbnails for portfolio showcase page?
On my site the thumb sizes differ and I want them all the same. How can I control it?

    2. Where can I find information how to make showcase stretch page or showcase mansory stretch?

There are many ways to setup a portfolio. This article will outline all possibilities in detail:

But simply put, the various examples in the live demo were setup using our layout builder. Each page has a custom layout attached, and a “Post Showcase” element has been added to it and configured.

It’ll helpful to watch the video on how the layout builder works from your documentation: https://vimeo.com/70256816

Note: If you’re using a crop size that has a fixed height across all images, then you don’t really need the masonry effect.

Here’s a helpful article on how image crop sizes work in WordPress:

    http://dev.themeblvd.com/tutorial/crop-sizes/

First off, were the current images in your media library uploaded to your WordPress site before you installed the theme? If so, then you need to regenerate your thumbnails, as you would do with any new theme or plugin that introduces new crop sizes.

Now, the theme has many crop sizes that are used for different things. So next, you need to make sure the images you’re uploading are big enough to fill the whatever crop size you’re aiming to fill.

By default on post showcases, the tb_grid size is used, which is 640×360. If you upload an image that is not at least that wide and tall, then WordPress can’t produce the crop size and it gets skipped.

And the default crop size used for all post showcases can be set from Appearance > Theme Options > Content > Post Showcase. And then that option can be overridden for a specific instance of a post showcase. For example, if you’re using the layout builder, and you add a “Post Showcase” element to your layout, there’s an option to select a crop size specific for that instance.
