Error with installing demo content

Hello,
When attempting to install the demo content “gnar-demo-1.xml”, the install sent me to a 404 page.
This error appeared on the install page after:
“Sorry, there has been an error.
File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.”

What steps do I need to take in order to complete a successful instal of demo content? Please Help!

Hi,

Sorry to hear you’re having problems with the WordPress importer. This doesn’t sound like anything really specific to the theme other that there just being such a large XML file that you’re importing from.

I would copy the message to your hosting support, specifically this part:

This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.

Hopefully they can increase this for you, in order for you to be able to upload the file through your WP admin.
