    When using the All in one SEO Pack Plugin I get duplicate Blog Titles. Looks like this:

    PostnameBlog Title | Blog Title

    Not very nice. Postname(no space)Blog TItle (twice)

    Searching the web I found in a few places instructions to change the wp_title in the header.php from
    <?php wp_title( '|', true, 'right' ); ?>
    to
    <?php wp_title; ?>

    I tried changing it but it did nothing.
    Not very nice, or useful. Is this a Jump Start issue and if so, could you please guide me on how to fix this?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    You shouldn’t need do anything in header.php, I don’t think. You just want to remove the framework’s filter on “wp_title” similarly if you were using Twenty Twelve or Twenty Eleven —

    Put this in your Child theme’s functions.php:

    remove_filter( 'wp_title', 'themeblvd_wp_title' );

    Is there a reason you’re using All-in-one? Yoast actually has an option that will essentially do this for you without having to do any code modifications.

    Thanks Jason!

    I’ll have a look at Yoasts plugin then.
    Just been using All in one forever. A change might be good 🙂
