Default template & sidebar settings abnormality

    Hi Jason B.,

    I noticed that when both my page’s template and sidebar settings are at Default (in DB table ‘wp_postmeta’, where meta_keys ‘_wp_page_template’ and ‘_tb_sidebar_layout’ are meta_valued as default), the meta_key ‘_tb_custom_layout’ is created with one of my custom layout’s meta_value. I find this strange, and rather conflicting.

    Please advise if this behaviour is normal, or not.

    Cheers,
    Jason W.

    Yes, this is normal. Is there some sort of problem that this causes for you?

    My guess that the following in the DB table “wp_postmeta” is normal, right?

    _wp_page_template = default
    _tb_sidebar_layout = default
    _tb_custom_layout = my-homepage

    Although _tb_custom_layout is valued at my-homepage, that page should be set to “default” template & sidebar layout. Yes?

    Well there is no “default” custom layout, but it makes no difference, anyway. Is there an actual problem you’re facing here? Or just a beef with having an unnecessary value saved to the meta of your pages? Or are you trying to start some sort of debate on how the theme is coded? lol is there something you’re driving at here?
