Custom post formats on Search Results

I created some custom post formats according to the docs for my client’s website, and it works great with all the template parts indicated on the docs, but it seems that search results use something different and are just returning a standard format.

What do I need to do to make the search results also use the template parts I created?

Oh, nevermind, I figured it out, I needed to add

$parts['search_results'] = $post_format;

to the $post_format array. I was trying ‘search’ before.
