[CSS Customizations] How to center the logo

So, I’ve been using Chrome & Safari’s built in Inspector. Tried adding the CSS above and it simply didn’t work; even tried to add margin: 0 auto; – still no go. So, here’s what I’m seeing:

Ideas? Suggestions? Winning lottery ticket numbers?

Do you have a link to what you’re actually doing? And you’re setting the image as an inline-block, and so setting an auto margin wouldn’t do anything here.

NEVER mind… I need to place !important on the display piece. As usual, you were KEEEERECT! 🙂

All right so the issue is actually where you’re placing your Custom CSS. View the source of your site and see where style.css is called in relation to other CSS files. You want to put your custom styles in the custom.css in that sample Child theme you’re using.

You don’t want to have to be putting !important on everything, as that’s always a bit of a hack and hard to debug later on.

Got it. It’s working perfectly now and all the !important declarations have been stripped out. Thanks again, Jason! 🙂
