I am trying to add a form and have tried all the popular forms but none will submit, do you have any advice?

    Hello,

I would recommend using Contact Form 7 as a free option, or gravity forms as a paid option. Here are some examples of usage in the theme with Contact Form 7 — http://www.themeblvd.com/demo/alyeska/features/contact-forms/

If no form is submitting on the frontend of your site from various plugins in general, most likely you have some sort of javascript conflict on your site from another plugin. If this is the case, realistically you just need to go through your other plugins and find out which one is conflicting. If you’d like to setup a contact form that’s not submitting and provide a link here, I can confirm if you have some sort of javascript conflict or not, if you like.

Yeah, just a post a link to your site where you have a contact form that isn’t working and I’ll check it out. I can see if there are any javascript errors by just looking in my web browser’s developer console.

So, no kind of javascript issues. I was thinking you meant that the forms literally were not sending, but the form seems to send fine. So are you saying that you’re not actually receiving the emails? If this is the case, there wouldn’t be any kind of issue/conflict with the theme or your plugins. It’s most likely some kind of server-configuration kind of thing.

Is it possibly something to do with how you have php mail setup? Have you tried posting in the support forum for this plugin? (they probably have some good tips on these kinds of general server mail type of stuff).

Also, this is a good plugin for configuring your WordPress php mail settings to use SMTP. This is what I use on my personal sites combined with Gravity Forms. — http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/configure-smtp/
