I need to have a page that does not use the main menu for the website – it needs to have a special menu for the page – is there anyway I can replace it with one built? Please advise.

I have built a new menu to use as primary for this page – how can I do that?

    thanks
    Stephanie

    Hello Stephanie,

There is no feature in the theme for this, but would be possible through your own customizations, if you’re using Swagger 2+.

There’s a filter “themeblvd_primary_menu_args” on the array of arguments passed into wp_nav_menu(). You can find where this happens to check it out by finding the “themeblvd_header_menu_default” function in /framework/includes/display.php.

So in theory, you could register your own menu location, and then filter the “theme_location” being passed into wp_nav_menu based on some WordPress conditional for a specific page.

If you’re unfamiliar with how filters work in WordPress, here’s some info on that:

Thanks – we ended up going to a new domain so the 4 pages have their own navigation. Thanks!
