You could possibly just hide the button with CSS?

.post_list .read-more { display: none; }

Or maybe alternatively you can change your post lists to display full content, opposed to excerpts.

Appearance > Theme Options > Content > Primary Posts Display > Show excerpts or full content?

For social sharing, I’d suggest finding a plugin. If you require actual edits to the file that displays content of a post list, you’d just copy content-list.php to your Child theme in order to edit it.
