Hello,
Although I have the image set to 550 x 227, it seems, for some reason, as if it’s incorrectly being displayed.

Can you explain what you mean by this? What are you setting so the image should be this size?

You probably remember me from these sites: http://www.pghmannerchor.com and http://www.ultimatedefensivedriving.us (both of which I’ve paid for along with the current theme shown in the first entry). If you look at http://www.pghmannerchor.com/news-and-events and check the size of the ‘Featured Image’, you’ll find that the images display nicely. Unsure what happened with the new theme?
The new theme doesn’t seem to display the image at the correct size: http://www.tyrolcleaning.com/new/press-articles and http://www.tyrolcleaning.com/new/pittsburgh-commercial-cleaning-that-protects-businesses-and-customers.

Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Content > Primary Posts display. What do you have set for the size of the featured images?
Looks great, I suppose I had thought this would auto-populate like the other versions, but this is very nice
