Best way to show old posts?

Hi,I have a lot of posts in my site, and I need a way to show the old ones on the first page, Like a widget that show random posts everytime you enter the homepage, or something like that.. Do you have any ideas ?

If you’re using the “Theme Blvd Mini Post List” widget, it allows you to put in a custom query string. So, in theory, you can display posts just about however you want. You could use a custom query string like:

orderby=rand
