    Hi there,

    I am trying to add a background image to the content area of the Home page using the Builder dialog. I tried to add a table with background image but the image does not show, although it does show if I add it to a normal page. What is the best way to add an image to the background of a text area in the Builder dialogs?

    Thanks
    Jacob

    Hello Jacob,

    Have you tried wrapping in a div with a background placed with inline styles possibly?

    <div style="background: ...; ?>
    ...
    </div>

    You can also do content from external page, and then you’re not limited by the raw content input area.

    For CSS changes, it’s a good idea to use a tool like firebug or Google Chrome’s built-in developer tools to locate them and then put the overriding edits either in your child theme or in the “Custom CSS” option on your theme options page.

    Here’s what boxes these items and the selectors you’ll want to target.

    .boxed-layout .boxed-inner,
    .boxed-layout .element-inner,
    .post_grid, article,
    #comments .comment-body,
    #respond {
    	...
    }
