Ads Above Header with Update

Jason – are we able to ads above header with the updated version of Akita? I saw where someone asked this question and you said you had to remove the ads above header from Akita. Is it back? I want to put something in above the Nav Bar between the logo and the SM icons. I’m using the child theme routine. Thx Mark

Hello Mark,

This is something that still isn’t enabled. I don’t believe the area is really styled or fully accounted for in the theme’s CSS.

If you’d like to enable the area and see what you can do with it, you’d simply do this from your Child theme’s functions.php after the framework is included:

remove_filter( 'themeblvd_sidebar_locations', 'akita_sidebar_locations' );
