I have always had some text and images in the Ad Below Footer widget area that always worked fine.
It is supposed to be layed out in 3 columns with the first being 3/5 and the other two being 1/5. Doesn’t appear to be recognizing that code any longer.

http://www.millelacs.com – if you look at the Dining page you should be able to see how it used to look and then at the home page and see it is no longer working. If you don’t see the difference I can send a screen shot. Just noticed this morning that it changed??

    Thanks!

I’m not sure what you were doing before, but WordPress doesn’t natively support shortcodes in widgets. It is possible to add this functionality though through your Child theme’s functions.php, however that would be a customization you’d need to make to the theme.

You can do this via plugins like this one, as well.

Keep in mind that shortcodes are not styled for widgets and sidebars. So it’s possible that not all of the theme’s shortcodes will look right when placed in a widget.

Thank you, that plugin worked perfectly.
