    Sure, why not? Your custom HTML could go in a Text widget in the “Ads Above Content” widget area. Appearance > Widgets

    Or you could hook in from your Child theme’s functions.php where ever you want.

    Yeah, definitely. You’d create a custom widget area under Appearance > Widget Areas, apply it to that widget area location, and assign it to the specific pages of your site you want it to display.
